Welcome to the July issue of the Harley-Davidson e-Zine.
This is always an exciting month for us with the launch of our new bikes and Model-Year 11 is no different.
We have the new Sportster® SuperLow™, the returning Softail® Deluxe and Electra Glide® Classic and four 2011 CVOs. We also have engine upgrades on the Touring range and ABS as standard on most Softail machines. Click here for an overview of the new motorcycles and upgrades that will be available.
New colours add an interesting dynamic to some of the existing motorcycles, including a White Hot Denim introduced on the XR1200X™ and VRCSCF V-Rod Muscle™ and Cool Blue Pearl for the XL1200N Nighster® and the FXDF Dyna® Fat Bob® to highlight just a few.
If you're looking to try any Harley-Davidson® motorcycle out for size, the online booking engine is available now and all year round on the Harley-Davidson website. Simply choose your road, and the Harley® that's right for you.
And don’t forget your Harley-Daivdson MotorClothes® to look good both on and off the road. However, you may need to be quick! Our new range of fashionwear – which will be exclusively available in Harley-Davidson dealers from August – got the thumbs up from a host of young celebrities this month at the famous T in the Park festival. Click here to find out more.
For the more safety conscious, the new MotorClothes® Illumination range of products have been developed – bringing both high visibility and safety together in a package. With ‘360° Enhanced Visibility’ – the latest generation of reflectivity from 3M™ Scotchlite™ – you can be five times more visible than in regular riding gear. This is exclusive to Harley-Davidson MotorClothes® in the motorsports industry and we’ve made the most of it, designing a complete outfit for both men and women in a range of stylish jackets, gloves and trousers. Visit your nearest authorised Harley-Davidson dealer for more information.
See you on the road,

Despite a sunny start to the weekend practice and qualifying for the last round of the Henderson Harley-Davidson XR1200 Trophy at Knockhill in Scotland, the event ended in a wash out with race day being brought to a premature end as a result of torrential rain and strong winds.
Both races of the first scheduled double header were cancelled. However, they have now been slotted into the remainder of the season with a double header now being staged at Brands Hatch in early August and a thrilling triple race season finale later in the same month at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire.
Both races from Brands Hatch will be screened live on British Eurosport and at least two of the Cadwell races can also be watched from the comfort of your own home if you’re unable to make it to the event to see and hear the rumble of action up close.
With all riders and teams now having gathered experience in the one-make production-based race series, the competition is hotting up for the top spot on the leader board. Warr’s Racing’s Jeremy McWilliams and Stratstoneracing.com’s Lea Gourlay have both secured one win apiece but with Gourlay crashing out of the opening race of the series, it’s McWilliams who remains in pole position for the title.
Ridersmotorcycles.com’s Mike ‘Spike’ Edwards still remains in close contention after finishing on the podium in both races to date. Talented youngster James Webb is also targeting his first podium finish after switching teams to run with Blade Motorsport.
For the next round of the Henderson Harley-Davidson XR1200 Trophy at Brands Hatch on 6-8 August, we have negotiated a special 15% discount for H.O.G.® members. You can access your promotional price tickets using the following link www.brandshatch.co.uk/HOG Don’t forget to collect your limited edition H.O.G. pin on arrival at the circuit too, by visiting the
Harley-Davidson stand in the public area.
Please click here for full details of the event schedule for Brands Hatch in Kent.
The season finale will take place on 28-30 August at Cadwell Park. Please visit
